Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |

| 16 | 77 | Z+6 | 0.97" | 3.04" |
Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
A Celtic knot that turns under your thumb.
Atlas held the heavens on his back and never let them slip. When your mind will not stop, this ring gives your hands a quiet task. The outer band spins freely on a polished titanium steel core, and around it runs a continuous Celtic knot, recessed in dark relief so the raised lines catch the light as it moves. Silver, black or gold-tone, in US sizes 6 to 13.
- Shower, gym, beach: no rust
- Celtic knot band that spins freely
- Silver, black or gold-tone
Details & specs
Made from titanium steel, a hard stainless alloy that resists rust and corrosion through daily wear. The outer band sits on a polished inner core and rotates independently, so the ring stays in place on your finger while the pattern turns. It is quiet enough that nobody at the table notices you doing it, even in a long meeting.
The knot is recessed and darkened so the raised lines stand out against it. Edges are beveled and polished, and the inside of the band is smooth against the finger. Choose bright silver, which is plain steel, or a full black or warm gold-tone finish; both of those colors are plated, and we say so.
How to wear it
Wear it on the index or middle finger with a plain white tee and a watch, or on the ring finger as a wedding-band alternative with the knot facing out. The black version disappears into dark tailoring and reads well under a cuff; the gold-tone version pairs with other warm-metal pieces. It belongs at the desk, on the commute and in long meetings.
Choosing your size
Sizes run US 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Measure a ring you already wear on the same finger. This is a wide band, and wide bands sit tighter than thin ones, so go up if you are between sizes. Fingers swell in heat and late in the day, so size to your afternoon hand rather than your morning one.
Why this piece
A spinner that turns
The outer band rotates on its own core, giving your hands something to do without reaching for your phone.
Built for every day
Titanium steel resists rust and corrosion, and the knot is etched and darkened, so it stays visible instead of flattening out at arm's length.

Questions
Will sand or sea water stop the Celtic spinner from turning?
Water will not hurt it, since titanium steel does not rust. After the beach, rinse the sand out of the gap between the band and the core so the knot keeps turning smoothly.
Will the spinner loosen over time?
The outer band is designed to rotate on the inner core, so movement is normal and does not mean it is loose. Keep the gap clean and it turns smoothly.
Will the black or gold-tone color wear?
Both are plated finishes made for daily wear. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive polishes, and wipe the ring with a soft cloth to keep the color looking even.
What is a Celtic spinner ring?
A ring whose outer band, carrying a continuous Celtic knot, rotates on a fixed inner core. The ring stays put on your finger while the pattern turns.
Why is the knot darker than the rest?
It is recessed and darkened so the raised lines catch the light and stand out against it, which keeps the knot readable at arm's length.
Can it replace a wedding band?
Yes. Worn on the ring finger with the knot facing out, it works as a wedding-band alternative, with something to turn in a long meeting.
Are the edges smooth?
Yes. The edges are beveled and polished, and the inside of the band is smooth against the finger.
Which Celtic spinner color disappears into dark tailoring?
Black, a plated finish that reads well under a cuff. Silver is plain steel, and gold-tone pairs with other warm-metal pieces.
