The band is titanium steel, carved with an uneven, faceted surface so light breaks across it instead of reflecting in one sheet. A black finish sits in the recesses and makes the rune symbols and the texture stand out against the steel color. The aged look is there straight out of the box, with no breaking in required.
The inside is left smooth and polished, which keeps the ring easy to slide on and comfortable through a long day. Titanium steel is a hard, corrosion-resistant alloy, so the ring holds its shape through keys, gym bags and desk work.
