Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
A line of Norse runes that reads the same from every angle.
Atlas never set the world down. Some weights stay with you, and so does this band. It is a wide, polished ring in titanium steel with a line of Norse runes etched all the way around, with no gaps and no stone. The silver version shows dark runes on a bright band; the black version reverses it, with pale script on dark metal. It comes in US sizes 7 to 11.
- Steel that stays on through the shower
- Runes etched around the full band
- Silver or black, US 7 to 11
Details & specs
The band is titanium steel (a grade of stainless steel) with a polished surface, so it reflects light cleanly and the edges stay smooth against the finger. Titanium steel resists rust and corrosion, which makes it practical for a ring you never take off between the sink, the gym and the commute. There are no stones and no moving parts, nothing to catch on a sleeve.
Norse runes are etched in one continuous line around the circumference, so the detail looks the same however your hand is turned. On the silver version the script sits dark against bright steel. The black version is a plated finish, and we say so: dark metal with pale runes, for a lower-contrast look that suits darker clothes.
How to wear it
Wear it on the index or ring finger with a white tee and a steel watch for an everyday look that stays simple. The black finish sits well with dark outerwear and leather; the silver version matches most steel watches and chains. It is clean enough for the office, solid enough for the weekend, and it does not need a second ring beside it.
Choosing your size
Sizes are US 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. If you know your size, order it as is. This is a wide band, and wide bands sit tighter than thin ones, so go up one if you are between sizes or have larger knuckles. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, for the most reliable result.
Why this piece
Script all the way round
The runes run the full circumference, so the ring reads the same from any angle. It adds texture without adding bulk.
Titanium steel, worn daily
It resists rust and corrosion and does not turn your skin green, so it stays on through water, sweat and workdays.
A gift for the man who carries everything
For a brother who reads the old sagas, or a friend who never lets anyone down. Sizes 9 and 10 sit in the middle of this range; check a ring he already wears, and you have 30 days to return it.

Questions
Can the etched Norse rune band stay on in salt water?
Yes. Titanium steel does not rust, so sea water and sweat are fine. Wipe it dry afterward to keep the runes crisp all the way around.
Will the black color wear off?
The black is a plated finish made for daily wear. Avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners helps it stay even; the silver version is plain polished steel.
How do I clean the etched runes?
Use warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then dry it fully. That keeps the recessed script clear and the polished surface bright.
What do the runes mean?
They are Norse runes, letters of the alphabet used in Scandinavia in the Viking Age, etched in one continuous line around the band. They are there as script and design.
How do the silver and black versions differ?
The silver version shows dark runes on bright steel. The black version reverses it, with pale script on dark metal, for a lower-contrast look.
Is there a gap in the runes?
No. They run the full circumference with no gaps, so the ring reads the same whichever way your hand is turned.
What is titanium steel?
A stainless steel alloy that resists rust and corrosion and takes a clean polish. It is not pure titanium.
Does it come in size 12?
No. Sizes run US 7 to 11.
