Men's Patterned Inlay Ring in Stainless Steel
For the man who keeps the faith when it counts.
Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
Texture down the middle, polished steel on each side.
Atlas held up the sky so others could stand. Your share is smaller, but it never stops, and this band is built to stay on through it. The domed stainless steel curves around the finger, with polished edges framing a textured inlay of fine crossing lines down the center. In daylight the pattern shifts between bright silver and soft gray. Choose silver or gold-tone, in US sizes 6 to 13.
- Does not rust or turn your skin green
- Crossing-line inlay, polished edges
- Silver or gold-tone, US 6 to 13
Details & specs
The ring is made from stainless steel with a high-polish finish. The band is domed: the metal curves outward at the center and tapers toward the edges instead of sitting flat against the skin. Stainless steel is hard and resists rust and corrosion, which is why it handles hand washing, desk work and the gym bag without fuss.
Down the middle runs an inlay with a fine crossing-line pattern that gives the surface depth instead of a flat mirror shine. Two narrow polished channels separate it from the outer edges and catch light as clean bright lines. The inside is smooth. The silver version is natural steel; the gold-tone version is a plated finish, and we say so.
How to wear it
On the ring finger with a white tee and a steel watch, it reads as a simple everyday band. Move it to the index finger and it reads as jewelry rather than a wedding band. The silver version sits naturally next to a steel watch case and a silver chain; the gold-tone version works with warmer pieces and darker knitwear. Wide enough for a suit, plain enough for the office.
Choosing your size
Sizes run US 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, in whole sizes. Start from a ring that already fits comfortably. Wide, domed bands feel a little tighter than thin ones, so if you are between sizes or the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, go up one. Measure when your hands are at normal temperature, not cold from outside.
Why this piece
Texture instead of sparkle
The crossing-line inlay gives the ring character without stones or logos. It looks considered up close and quiet from across a room.
Steel for every day
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion. Keep it on in the shower, at the gym and on the beach.

Questions
Can the crosshatch dome ring stay on at the beach?
Yes. Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion. Rinse sand out of the crosshatch lines and dry the band to keep the polished channels bright.
Will it scratch with everyday use?
Stainless steel is hard and handles daily wear well, but like any polished finish it can pick up light surface marks over time. A soft cloth brings back most of the shine.
Does the crosshatch dome ring read as a wedding band?
On the ring finger, yes, as a simple everyday band. Moved to the index finger, it reads as jewelry rather than a wedding band.
What does the crosshatch pattern look like?
Fine crossing lines run down the center of the band. In daylight the pattern shifts between bright silver and soft gray.
What are the thin bright lines on each side?
Two narrow polished channels that separate the inlay from the outer edges and catch light as clean lines.
Is the crosshatch the same on both colors?
Yes. Both versions share the domed shape, the crosshatch inlay and the polished channels; only the color changes.
Does the texture hide marks?
The crosshatch center hides light marks better than a mirror surface would. The polished edges are where fine marks show first.
Silver or gold-tone with a steel watch?
Silver: it sits naturally next to a steel case and a silver chain. Gold-tone works better with warmer pieces and darker knitwear.
