You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 22".
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 2" more or less: that is one size up or down.
Already own a chain you like? Lay it flat, clasp closed, and measure it end to end. A broad neck or chest makes every length sit a little higher.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.

This crucifix pendant has a detailed cast figure and the traditional INRI inscription at the top, polished to a clean, reflective surface. It hangs from a box chain in stainless steel and rests just below the collarbone. Choose natural steel, gold-tone or black.

The pendant and box chain are stainless steel, a material known for strength and because it does not rust. It has a solid feel and is made for everyday wear. The crucifix features a detailed cast figure and the traditional INRI inscription at the top, with crisp edges that catch the light as you move.
The whole piece has a polished finish for a clean, reflective surface. The silver version is natural polished steel; the gold-tone and black versions are plated finishes, and we say so. The box chain has a comfortable weight and frames the pendant without competing with it. It lies flat against the skin.
How to wear it
Wear it alone against a plain white tee, or let it sit under an open-collared shirt for a quieter look. The clean box chain also layers with a second, shorter chain, and it sits well alongside a watch in the same tone. Black pairs with dark clothing; gold-tone warms up neutrals.
