Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so it is worth measuring twice.
Hammered facets you keep touching, one black line around the middle.
Atlas held the heavens with both hands. The steady weight of a good ring is a small echo of that. This 8mm tungsten carbide band has a hammered, faceted surface in a soft brushed silver tone that breaks the light into small flashes, with a single black inlay running the whole way around. Dense, square-edged and smooth inside. US sizes 7 to 15, with half sizes up to 12.5.
- Sweat and water do not faze it
- Hammered facets, black inlay stripe
- 15 sizes, US 7 to 15
Details & specs
The band is made from tungsten carbide, one of the hardest materials used in men's rings. It resists scratches from keys, desks and gym bars, and it does not rust. The outer surface is worked into a faceted, hammered texture with a soft brushed silver tone, while the inside of the band is smooth and polished.
A narrow black inlay runs around the center of the band, flecked with lighter marbling that shows up close. The edges are flat and clean, so the ring sits square on the finger and keeps its shape. The texture adds depth while the single inlay keeps the design controlled rather than busy.
How to wear it
Wear it on the ring or index finger with a watch on the same side for a balanced look. The silver tone and black line work with a white tee and denim, and stay quiet under a cuff with a suit. It is heavy enough to stand alone as the only ring you wear, and it suits a wedding band role for men who like texture.
Choosing your size
Sizes run US 7 to 12.5 in half sizes, then 13, 14 and 15, and the width stays 8mm across all of them. A wide band sits closer on the finger than a thin one, so if you are between sizes or your knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, take the next size up. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so measure late in the day.
Why this piece
Hard to mark
Tungsten carbide is extremely hard, so the faceted surface keeps its look through keys, desks and gym bars.
Texture with a clean line
Hammered facets add depth while one black inlay keeps the design controlled.

Questions
Can the hammered black inlay tungsten ring stay on at the gym?
Yes. Tungsten carbide does not rust and resists the scratches gym bars leave on softer rings. A soft dry cloth clears skin oils from the hammered facets.
Can a tungsten ring be resized?
No. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so choose carefully and size up if you are between sizes or have a larger knuckle.
Does the silver tone need polishing?
No. The brushed, hammered finish is meant to look worked, so a wipe with a soft cloth is enough. Take it off for heavy lifting or harsh chemicals.
What does a hammered finish look like?
Small flat facets worked into the surface, as if shaped by a hammer, so the band breaks the light into small flashes. Here it comes in a soft brushed silver tone.
Is the inlay solid black?
Mostly, with lighter marbling that shows up close. It is a narrow stripe running around the center of the band.
Are the edges rounded?
No, flat and clean. The ring sits square on the finger and keeps its shape.
Does a hammered ring hide scratches?
Yes, better than a mirror band: the facets already break up the surface, so small marks blend in. Tungsten carbide also resists scratching in the first place.
What happens if I order a half size too small?
Tell us within 2 hours of ordering and we change it before it ships. Later than that, return it unworn in its original packaging within 30 days and order the half size up; return shipping is at your cost.
