Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |
| 6 | 52 | L½ | 0.65" | 2.04" |

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so it is worth measuring twice.
Two textured channels outside, a flash of blue inside.
Atlas never put the sky down to rest. Some weeks feel the same, and a ring that asks for no looking after helps. This 8mm tungsten carbide band is brushed black, with two channels of textured silver-tone inlay running all the way around and a polished blue interior as a private touch of color. It feels solid on the hand and looks modern from any angle. US sizes 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13.
- No rust, through sweat, salt and soap
- Two textured silver-tone inlay channels
- Blue interior, brushed black outside
Details & specs
The ring is tungsten carbide, a material valued for its hardness and resistance to scratches. It is made to handle daily activity while keeping its appearance, and it does not rust, so water and sweat are no concern. The inside of the band is smooth and polished, so it sits comfortably on the finger through the day.
The 8mm band has a brushed black finish, contrasted by a vibrant blue interior. Both colors are plated finishes, and we say so. Two channels of textured silver-tone inlay run the full circumference, catching the light with every movement and giving the black band depth and a little grit on the hand.
How to wear it
The design works with casual and formal clothes alike. Pair it with a dark watch for a coordinated look, or let it be the single point of interest with a plain tee and jeans. Under a shirt cuff at work it reads as a sharp black band; on the weekend the silver-tone channels give it more character. Keep the other hand simple.
Choosing your size
Available in US sizes 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13. Choose your standard ring size for a comfortable fit, checked against a ring you already wear on the same finger. If your usual size is not in the list, take the next size up rather than down, since a wide 8mm band sits close on the finger and a little room helps over the knuckle.
Why this piece
Hard to scratch
Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest materials used in jewelry, so it shrugs off the scuffs of daily life and does not rust.
Black, silver and blue
Brushed black outside, textured silver-tone channels and a polished blue interior make a modern two-tone look.

Questions
Can the black and blue tungsten band stay on in the sea?
Yes. Tungsten carbide does not rust, so salt water and sweat are fine. A damp cloth now and then keeps the textured silver-tone channels bright.
Will the blue inside last?
The blue is a plated finish on the inner surface, where it is sheltered from most knocks. Keeping harsh chemicals away from the ring helps it stay even.
Is the inside comfortable?
Yes. The interior is smooth and polished, so the ring slides on easily and sits comfortably through the day.
What do the silver-tone channels look like up close?
Textured. Two channels run the full circumference and catch the light with every movement, which gives the black band depth and a slightly gritty feel.
There is no size 11: what should I order?
Take 12. Sizes are US 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13, and on an 8mm band it is better to go up than down, since a wide ring sits close over the knuckle.
Is the outside blue at all?
No. The outside is brushed black with two silver-tone channels. The blue is only on the polished interior, a private touch of color.
Is tungsten carbide brittle?
It is very hard but less flexible than steel, so a sharp blow against stone or concrete can chip or crack it. In daily wear, that hardness is what keeps the brushed black looking new.
What does the warranty cover on this ring?
Manufacturing defects for 1 year from purchase, such as a structural defect in the metal or finish not caused by an accident. Normal surface wear, knocks and chemical damage are not covered.
