Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

Atlas held the sky high so the earth could breathe. This band keeps something lighter at its center. From a distance it reads as a solid 8mm black stainless steel ring; move your hand and the abalone shell inlay picks up green, blue and pink. The faceted edges catch the room one facet at a time, and the polished inside slides on cleanly. US sizes 6 to 13.

The band is stainless steel with a black plated finish, cut with an engraved, faceted texture around the outside. The steel itself does not rust or corrode, and the inside of the band is smooth and polished so it slides over the knuckle without catching. At 8mm wide it has room to show the detail.
Down the center runs a band of iridescent abalone shell. Shell is a natural material, so no two rings show exactly the same pattern, and the colors move from green to blue to pink as the light changes. It is also the part that needs care: keep it away from soaking, harsh cleaners and abrasive polish so it keeps its shine.
How to wear it
Wear it alone on the ring or middle finger, where the 8mm width has room to show. It works with a white tee and a steel watch, and it holds its own under a shirt cuff at dinner. Keep the rest of the hand bare so the inlay stays the focal point, and let a black or navy outfit bring out the blues and greens.

Questions
Should I take the abalone inlay band off before a swim or a shower?
Yes. The black steel band does not rust, but the abalone shell should not soak. If it gets wet, dry it right away so the inlay keeps its color.
What outfit brings out the colors of the abalone inlay?
Black or navy. Dark clothes bring out the blues and greens of the shell, and keeping the rest of the hand bare lets the inlay stay the focal point.
Will the pattern look like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Abalone is natural shell, so the swirl of green, blue and pink is slightly different on every ring.

Is the shell inlay covered by the warranty?
