Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
A carved tree, a braided rim, a face that reads from across the table.
Atlas held up the sky so others could stand. Roots below, branches above: the Tree of Life is a drawing of the same idea. Here it is carved into the round face of a 316L stainless steel signet, 0.7 inches (1.8cm) across, framed by a braided border. Antiqued recesses hold the shadow while the polished shoulders catch the light. One finish, in US sizes 7 to 13.
- Does not rust, does not turn skin green
- 0.7 in (1.8cm) carved signet face
- Seven sizes, US 7 to 13
Details & specs
The ring is made from 316L stainless steel, a grade chosen because it does not rust through daily contact with water, sweat and weather. The band widens into thick, smooth shoulders that carry a broad round face measuring 0.7 inches (1.8cm) across, a classic signet proportion rather than an oversized one.
The face is filled by a Tree of Life motif, its branches and roots curling into a tight circle. A braided rope pattern frames the disc. The darkened antique finish sits in the recesses so the carving stands out against the polished steel, which gives the ring the look of something you have owned for years rather than bought last week.
How to wear it
Put it on the index or ring finger of your dominant hand, where the wide face has room to sit flat. It works with a white tee and dark denim, and it holds its own next to a steel watch or a leather cuff. Keep any other rings plain and thin when you wear it, so this one carries the detail on that hand.
Choosing your size
Offered in US sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Measure a ring you already wear on the same finger, or have the finger sized at a jeweler, and order that number. A wide signet feels a little snugger than a thin band, so if you are between sizes or have larger knuckles, take the larger size.
Why this piece
A symbol with roots
The Tree of Life is a design people recognize: roots, trunk and branches in one circle. It gives the ring a reason to be noticed.
Steel that stays on
316L stainless steel does not rust and does not turn your skin green. Shower, gym and beach are all fine.

Questions
Can the 316L Tree of Life signet stay on at the beach?
Yes. 316L stainless steel does not rust, so sea water, sweat and showers are fine. Hard knocks can still leave small marks on the polished shoulders.
Is the face too big for a smaller hand?
The face is 0.7 inches (1.8cm) across, a classic signet size rather than an oversized one. On the smaller sizes it still sits within the width of the finger.
How do I keep the carving clean?
Wipe it with a soft cloth, and wash it with mild soap and warm water when dust settles in the recesses. Dry it fully and keep bleach and strong cleaners away.
How is a signet ring different from a regular band?
A signet widens into a face on top, here a round carved disc 0.7 in (1.8cm) across, while a band keeps the same width all the way around. The face is what carries the design.
Is the Tree of Life a religious symbol?
It appears in many traditions, from Celtic and Norse art to the Bible, and it is often read as a sign of family and roots. This ring shows the tree on its own inside a braided border, so it works as a personal symbol as much as a religious one.
Why is the carving darker than the rest of the ring?
It is an antiqued finish held in the recesses, used on purpose so the tree and the braided border stand out against the polished shoulders. It gives the ring a worn-in look from the first day.
Which finger suits the Tree of Life signet?
The index or ring finger of your dominant hand, where the 0.7 in (1.8cm) face has room to sit flat. Keep any other rings plain and thin.
Does it go with a gold-tone watch?
It matches steel more naturally. The ring is polished silver-tone steel with dark recesses, so a steel watch or a leather strap pairs cleanly; with a gold-tone watch it becomes a mixed-metal look.
