The chain is stainless steel in a box link: small square links that lock into one another and form a smooth, even line. The square profile keeps its shape and does not twist flat as you move. Stainless steel does not rust, so the chain can stay on through showers, training and long days at the beach.
Silver is the natural steel color. Gold-tone, rose gold-tone and black are electroplated finishes, and we say it plainly. At 1.5mm wide the chain stays slim enough to hide under a shirt and strong enough to hold a pendant. A lobster clasp closes it at the back of the neck, and it comes as a chain alone.
How to wear it
With a white tee, an 18" or 20" sits near the collarbone and draws a clean line at the neck. Under a shirt with one or two buttons open, the same length shows a little without shouting. From 24" and up, the chain falls onto the chest and carries a pendant over a crewneck or a knit. Match the tone to your watch: black with dark steel, rose gold-tone with warm leather.
Choosing your size
Five lengths: 18" (45cm) sits at the base of the neck, 20" (50cm) just below the collarbone and suits most men, 24" (60cm) rests on the chest, and 28" (70cm) and 31" (80cm) hang low for a long drop. For a pendant, choose 24" or longer so it lands mid-chest rather than at the throat. If he is broad through the neck and shoulders, go one length up.
